COOLING YARN / COOL JADE YARN
PE cool-touch fiber generally refers to a type of cooling-functional fiber made from polyethylene (abbreviated as PE) as the primary raw material through special processing technologies and techniques. Polyethylene is a high molecular polymer formed by the polymerization of ethylene, featuring excellent chemical stability and water resistance. After modification and treatment, it is endowed with cooling properties.

Cooling Principle

1.High Thermal Conductivity: PE cool-touch fiber features high thermal conductivity, which enables it to rapidly transfer heat away from the skin surface. When the skin comes into contact with the fiber, heat is dissipated quickly, thereby producing a cool sensation.

2.Instant Cooling Sensation Upon Contact :When human skin touches PE cool-touch fiber, the fiber can quickly absorb and transfer heat from the skin surface, delivering a distinct cooling sensation the moment contact is made. This cooling effect helps the human body rapidly lower skin temperature in hot weather and enhances comfort (-3ºC cooling sensation is achieved upon skin contact).
3.Heat Dissipation via Sweat Evaporation: PE cool-touch fiber generally also has good moisture absorption and air permeability. It can quickly absorb sweat from the skin surface and transport it to the fiber exterior, accelerating sweat evaporation. Heat is then removed through the evaporation process, which further enhances the cooling effect and keeps the skin dry and comfortable.
